FAQs
- 01Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire. Suits or jackets are encouraged for men, and midi or longer dresses are appropriate for women. Weather permitting, our reception will be held outdoors so we recommend comfortable footwear for walking on grass and bringing a shawl or light layer in case the evening gets chilly.
- 02If you're driving to the ceremony, there is guest parking available directly across from St. Thomas of Villanova Church in Lots L-2 and L-3, located on Lancaster Avenue. These lots are just a short walk to the church entrance. For guests with mobility needs, we recommend entering campus through the Spring Mill Road / Rt. 320 gate, which offers the most direct access to the church. If you require handicapped parking, please reach out to us at hello@thetonellis2026.com and we’ll be happy to coordinate a spot and provide detailed directions. Villanova's campus can be a bit winding, so we recommend allowing a few extra minutes for parking and walking!
- 03Yes! When you arrive at Highlands Mansion & Gardens, follow the driveway up to the main house and continue past it. On the left side of the building, you’ll find a parking lot that can accommodate up to 70 cars. For guests with mobility needs, a handicap-accessible ramp is located at the rear entrance of the mansion.
- 04Yes! We will provide shuttles to and from the reception with pickup at the Hilton Garden Inn and the Holiday Inn Express. Please note, we are not providing transportation to and from the church ceremony at the St. Thomas of Villanova Church.
- 05While we adore your little ones, we are keeping the guest list limited. If your children are included on your formal invitation, we would love to have them join us! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for an adults-only evening. Thank you for understanding!
- 06We’re keeping things simple and will be celebrating exclusively on the big day! There will not be a separate welcome party or additional events leading up to the wedding.
- 07Out of respect for the Catholic Church and to help us maintain a reverent atmosphere, we kindly ask that you refrain from using cell phones or taking photos during the ceremony. We promise to share the professional photos afterward!
- 08We’re keeping our celebration intimate with our closest friends and family. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the formal invitation. If a plus one is included for you, you’ll see their name there. Thank you so much for understanding!
